Boston (May 29) – As social entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility are becoming increasingly important dimensions of business culture in China, Global China Connection’s Harvard University chapter would like to provide an international audience with more insight into these trends by hosting two conferences in China this summer.
On Saturday, June 26, 2010, Global China Connection will host the first of these two events in Beijing. Entitled “Moving China Forward: A Conference on Social Entrepreneurship,” the forum will feature leading experts and practitioners of this new organizational model which packages concern for sustainable development, the pursuit of a harmonious society, and business savvy into one powerful tool.

On Saturday, July 10, 2010, Global China Connection in partnership with Sun Yat-Sen University will host a conference in Guangzhou entitled “Moving China Forward: A New Day for Corporate Social Responsibility.” This event will bring together top academics, professionals, and students to discuss the increasing importance of creating social value within the strategic outlooks of business leaders in China.
